About
My name is Ezra Böhm (2000), a fine art an advertising photographer based in Utrecht. My fascination with traditional cultures began in Malaysia, where I visited an indigenous tribe at the age of 11.
While studying at the Fotovakschool, Applied Photography and Visual Communication, I noticed that I felt little cultural connection with the culture of my own country. The Dutch culture, along with many other western countries, has been severely compromised by globalization.
Therefore, I started using my camera to discover my own cultural roots. Who am I, where do I come from and what has made us who we are today. I capture these stories and share them with the world.
I also do various assignments in advertising, editorial, fashion, portrait, architecture and landscape through photography, film and retouching.
